Nic Macrozonaris returned to the track today in Sherbrooke, Quebec, for the first time this outdoor season. Sidelined since early in the year with a nagging leg injury -one that shelved his best indoor season since 2002-2003 - Macrozonaris laced up the spikes this afternoon running 10.49 seconds in the heats. He then went on to take second place in the final in 10.54 seconds behind race winner Hank Palmer. Palmer won in a time of 10.51 seconds. "It felt good to finally get back on the track," said Macrozonaris following his race. "This was a good test today. The leg is not 100%, but it's getting there so I am very happy with the results." |
