Nic travels to Hermosillo, Mexico tomorrow where he contests the 100m this Saturday, May 21. Hometown of Mexican star Ana Guevara, the "Héroes de Nacozari" stadium in Hermosillo hosts the first of two stops in the 2005 Banamex Galatlética meet series. The atmosphere should be electric as the Mexican star is planning to make her season debut in her hometown. Hermosillo is located about 1600 kms to the northwest of Mexico City, but unlike the capital, Hermosillo is only about 200 metres above sea level. The weather should be perfect for track & field, with forecasts calling for very warm temperatures. The Canadian men's 4x100 metre relay team finished in fourth place on Saturday in a time of 39.63 seconds. Nic ran his 100m opener about an hour later, in 10.41 with a -0.2 wind. Anson Henry cramped up during his 2nd leg, after a very good lead-off leg by Michael James.
